Less salt and sugar in your diet

Go to the doctor twice a year

If you want to make a small change in your days that does wonders for your health, it is visiting the doctor. This is a way for you to make sure that your blood pressure is normal, and that your heart rate is within the regular limits. It is also a good idea for you to take a blood test, where you can see if you are getting all of the vitamins and minerals that you need in order to be healthy. It is not something that you are forced to do, but it is a good idea for you to do so twice a year, so that you do not suddenly risk having higher blood pressure and walking around with it for years on end, because you have not seen yoru general physician. 

Be active in whatever capacity you can

Activity is a difficult topic for many. It is not everybody that sees activity during the day as something to look forward to, and it is definitely not everybody that sees it as vital. However, your body is not healæhty if you do not move, which is why you should make sure that you move your body in some way or another during the day. This does not mean that you have to start running, or that you have to take up swimming lessons. This only means that you should move in some way that you find comfortable during the day. This might be a walk to and from work, or it might be 20 minutes, as you dance in your living room. Some people also clean in order to move and tire out their body during the day. This is entirely up to you, as long as you make sure that you move your body. 

Avoid too much coffee 

Coffee is a quick way for you to have more energy during the day, but it is also terrible for your blood pressure, and it is highly addictive. This is why you should always manage your caffeine intake, so that you do not drink too much. This is especially the case, if you work in an environment, where it is common to have five or more cups of coffee every day. When you are managing your caffeine intake, you are taking care of your body, and it does not mean that you cannot have coffee. It simply means that you have to be aware of your intake.
